30th Anniversary

2009 saw a year long celebration of events for Tumble Tots as we celebrated our 30th Anniversary.

Next Generation

We called for all ex-Tumble Tots with their very own Tumble Tot to send in their details to Tumble Tots Family 2nd Generation competition, with a picture of them as a Tumble Tot then, and a picture of them with their own Tumble Tot. The competition will ran ended March 2009. Four lucky 2nd Generation families won luxurious break to one of UK’s luxurious cottages with provider Premier Cottages.

30 ways to win with Tumble Tots

 Celebration of 30 years to take off on family holidays. Tumble Tots teamed up with some top holiday providers and leading children’s brands, to give families a chance of winning one of 30 prizes throughout the year. All families had to do was sign up for their e-newsletters and watch out for the weekly newsletters with information on the prize for that week. Eat Fit Keep Fit: 9-16 February 2009

The was the first of three annual campaigns, Eat Fit, Keep Fit ran from 9 to 16 Feb. The campaign which was first introduced in 2004 is designed to get families enjoying a healthy diet from a young age. With general information about healthy food and some healthy easy to cook recipes from well known food authors, Eat Fit, Keep Fit offers parents a host of recipe ideas to try out and also invites recipes from parents. Eat Fit Keep Fit leaflets are available from Tumble Tots centres in February on downloadable from the website.

Positive Parenting Week : 11-17 May 2009

12th year for Positive Parenting week in 2009. Positive Parenting Week was launched to celebrate parenting and cheer parents on their journey. With advice from the experts including Denise Thornton, renowned educational child psychologist, a PP week booklet with ideas on dealing with childhood behaviour was available. Positive Parenting week booklets were available in May from Tumble Tots centres in the UK or downloadable from www.tumbletots.com

National Children’s Activity Week : 5 to 11 October

The very first Tumble Tots campaign to be launched, National Children’s Activity Week encourages the nation to get moving, for the 16th year. First launched in 1994 because Tumble Tots had already recognised the growing trend of inactive children the problem has now escalated with reports suggesting that more than half of Britain’s children will be obese by 2020. National Children’s Activity Week offers parents ideas on getting the while family active and starting the youngest citizens of the British nation to get into the habit of healthy and active lifestyle.
