I'm planning for this to have chat for the parents, information on the whys and wherefores of classes and areas where you can ask questions about anything you don't understand. It will also be a way for people to keep in touch once they move on from classes if they want to - we hate losing touch with people especially when their children leave us to go to school.
I'll also post reminders about photographer days, etc. to the wall and I guess you may be able to get them sent to you automatically (still finding my way around FB, so not sure) so you never forget or miss out on anything important.
