Healthy Heroes Week 2026

Healthy Heroes Week 2026 is back, bringing energy, excitement and powerful learning to children across the United Kingdom. Tumble Tots champions children’s physical development through structured activity classes. During Healthy Heroes Week, we go further by connecting physical exercise with healthy eating, helping children understand how food fuels movement.

This dedicated week reinforces the importance of children’s physical activity while introducing positive conversations about nutrition in a fun, accessible way. The focus is clear: active bodies need nourishing fuel.

Captain Hero’s 5 A Day Training Academy

This year, children are invited to join as recruits in Captain Hero’s 5 A Day Training Academy. A special message has arrived from headquarters. Captain Hero has observed that children jump, balance, throw, crawl and navigate brilliantly in class. However, even the strongest movers cannot perform at their best without the right fuel.

The mission is simple and empowering. Children discover how colourful fruits and vegetables power their bodies so they can move confidently, grow steadily and train like true superheroes.

Rather than focusing on restriction or labelling foods, the emphasis is on positive awareness. Children learn that healthy eating supports the activities they already love at Tumble Tots.

Five Colour Powered Movement Missions

During Healthy Heroes Week classes, recruits complete five colour powered missions. Each mission links a fundamental movement skill to a specific food colour, reinforcing the connection between nutrition and physical development.

Children explore how a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables contribute to:

  • Energy for running and jumping

  • Strength for climbing and balancing

  • Focus for coordination tasks

  • Stamina for sustained movement

  • Growth and overall wellbeing

Once all five missions are successfully completed, recruits graduate as official Healthy Heroes and receive their exclusive 2026 sticker.

Promoting Healthy Eating Through Positive Messaging

Healthy Heroes Week supports families by introducing healthy eating for children in a constructive and encouraging way. The message is not about eliminating foods. Instead, it builds awareness of how nutritious choices help power active lifestyles.

By understanding that fruits and vegetables contribute to energy and growth, children begin to associate healthy foods with strength, confidence and achievement. This early education can support long term healthy habits and reinforce positive attitudes towards food.

Supporting Active Children All Year Round

Healthy Heroes Week 2026 reflects the core values of Tumble Tots: supporting children’s physical development, building confidence and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.

By combining structured physical activity with engaging nutrition education, we help children understand that super movement requires super fuel. Through positive reinforcement, imaginative play and practical learning, every recruit leaves empowered to keep moving, keep growing and keep making healthy choices.
