Join us for a week of fun filled activities themed around ‘Exploring the Sea’ for our 27th annual National Children’s Activity Week!
What is National Children’s Activity Week?
National Children’s Activity Week (or NCAW for short) is a campaign held every October in Tumble Tots classes across the country to highlight the importance of physical activity for children.
What happens during NCAW?
During NCAW, children attend their normal Tumble Tots class, at the same time and place, but are given themed activities to take part in. Children and grown-ups are invited to dress up to make the week even more exciting and we have an exciting competition for you to enter.
Why are we ‘Exploring the Sea’?
We change our NCAW theme every year to spark little one’s imagination, a key part of a child’s development. Using their imagination helps their brain development and by having fun, children develop a positive attitude towards physical exercise.
‘Exploring the Sea’ Activities
As well as in the classes, we have lots of sea themed fun activities for your little one to take part in at home including jumping, weaving, crawling, balancing, climbing and throwing as well as a cut and colour fish exercise. You will be given a copy of our activity leaflet in classes or click below to download them and print at home.
