And, what a storm it has been since March 2020 for Tumble Tots (UK) Ltd. But, we are ecstatic that Tumble Tots has not only weathered that storm, but is blooming within the children’s activity sector.

There is no magic formula or top secret information that has enabled us to achieve the booming success we have seen, not only in the 44 years of operation, but particularly within the last three years. Put simply, the steps taken, have been well thought out, at times daring, but all considered with a collaborative approach alongside our Franchisees.

During any crisis within a business model, whether it be bought about with immediate urgency, such as the pandemic, or through careful forecasting, forward, comprehensive thinking is crucial in attempting to secure success. This is not to say, though, this concept is easy, it can require tough decisions to be made that require courage in their execution.

As a Franchisor, we at Tumble Tots (UK) Ltd., pride ourselves on our straightforward approach, we endeavour to ensure our Franchisees feel secure and confident as and when any crisis, no matter big or small, local or national occurs. Jo Duggan, Franchisee of Tumble Tots Redditch, notes that we’re ‘are at the end of the phone when needed, however little a problem may be.’ And, sometimes, we’re even lucky enough that Jo pops into us at Head Office on a Monday morning with a remarkable amount of energy which always helps to beat the Monday blues!

The unexplored world of the pandemic was a brand-new phenomenon for every business, the unknown was unparalleled against what anyone had ever experienced and presented colossal amounts of thought provoking ideas and hurdles. But, at the top of the company, as Franchisors, we knew that we had to execute a remarkable, but well-measured plan for how Tumble Tots could be delivered into the homes of early years children across the country.

The planning and measured forward thinking of “Tumble Tots at Home”, enabled the Tumble Tots brand during the pandemic to be present in a staggering amount of households up and down the country, and in fact, internationally. Throughout 2020 and 2021 not only did our respectable philosophy of ensuring early years children kept physical active in their own homes, it also contributed to generating a greater brand awareness.

Consequently, our Franchisees around the country had an astounding and extraordinary response once they were able to relaunch their classes in line with Government guidance.  

Brand Confidence Franchising

Our Franchisees are all so lucky to build up strong rapports with each one of the parents and Tumble Tots that attend classes. Every day, week and year, we see parents brining their first, second, third and possibly fourth child to classes, because they believe, trust and have confidence in our tremendous classes. A recent class review on social media informed us that a parent has been taking her children to Tumble Tots for six years, which we think is an incredible testament to how great our brand truly is.

And it’s not only authentic reviews that help inform us of the proven trust and confidence in our brand, but it’s also the high number of Tumble Tots we see join our classes every year. Throughout 2022, we had over 15,000 new Tumble Tots join our classes, and already in 2023, we’ve had close to 6000 new Tumble Tots too.

Furthermore, our professional brand confidence continue to surprise us, with strong interest from those wanting to become part of our Franchise network. In January 2023, we launched two brand new businesses, who from the point of launching have seen terrific numbers attending and their business blossom. With one further business launching September 203, we have no doubt that the confidence in our brand will continue to empower others to join our network and see the benefits of running a Tumble Tots for themselves.
